ENTRY REQUIREMENTS |
|
WASC/SSCE/GCE(O/L)TC II/NABTEB with credits
in 5 subjects at not more than two sittings. Credits in English
and / or Mathematics may be required in some courses. Read below
for more details. |

ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS |
| 1. SCHOOL OF VOCATIONAL
STUDIES |
| (i). |
AGRICUTURAL SCIENCE: Candidates proposing to read
agric sc. In the College must have a credit/merit in
Agric Sc, and another Credit in any ONE of the following
subjects: Biology, Chemistry, mathematics, Economics,
General Science, Rural science, or Health Science
.However, candidates with credit in biology and
chemistry may be considered. |
| (ii). |
HOME ECONOMICS: For Home Economics Candidates, One
of the two Credits must be from Cookery, Food and
Nutrition, Needle work, Home Management, Home Economics,
Health Science, while the other Credit/merit come from
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Science, Nature
Study, Arithmetic Processes, Economics, Physical and
Health Education. |

BUSINESS EDUCATION: Candidates must have Two Credits
in any of the following subjects: Book Keeping,
Accountancy, Economics, Commerce, Business Method,
Office Practice, Typewriting, Shorthand, and at least a
pass in any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Book
Keeping, Accountancy or Arithmetic. |

Besides the minimum entry requirement, Candidates
offering Physics and Chemistry must have atleast a pass
in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics. |

| 3. SCHOOL OF SOCIAL
SCIENCES |
| |
Besides the minimum entry requirement, candidates
taking a combination involving Geography and Economics
MUST have atleast a pass in mathematics or merit in
TC.II Arithmetic/Business Mathematics. |

| 4. SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES |
| |
Besides the stipulated minimum requirements,
candidates offering a combination involving English
language must have a merit/credit in English language
and literature in English or R.S.A/Pitman Intermediate
pass in English Language. Candidates with a pass in
Literature in English may be considered. |
